Membership and Entry Refunds

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Refund Policy for Memberships

  1. Membership Refunds

    • Memberships are eligible for a full refund (minus processing fees where applicable) only if a refund is submitted before signing up for an event, attending or before the first event after purchase.

    • Once a member has signed up, attended or the first event after purchase has passed, the membership fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. Refund Requests

    • To request a refund, members must submit a written request to playnwpa@gmail.com

    • Refunds (minus processing fees where applicable) will be processed within 10 business days upon approval.

  3. Exceptions

    • Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction, change of mind, or failure to attend events after purchasing membership.

    • Special exceptions may be considered for extenuating circumstances, at the sole discretion of NWPA.

By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this refund policy.

Entry Fee Refund Policy

Rollover Option (Preferred)

  • If a participant cannot attend an event, they may request to roll over their entry fee to a future event.

  • Rollovers must be requested at least 48 hours before the event start date.

  • Rolled-over entry fees must be used within 12 months of the original event date.

  1. Refund Eligibility

    • Refunds will only be considered if a rollover is not feasible.

    • Entry fees are eligible for a full refund (minus processing fees and administration fee where applicable) only if a refund request is submitted by 6pm the night before the event start date.

    • Once the event draw has been completed, entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. Requesting a Rollover or Refund

    • To request a rollover or refund, participants must submit a written request to playnwpa@gmail.com

    • Rollover approvals will be processed as soon as possible, and approved refunds (minus processing fees and administration fee where applicable) will be processed within 10 business days.

  3. Exceptions

    • No-shows, change of mind, or dissatisfaction after attending an event do not qualify for rollovers or refunds.

    • Special exceptions may be considered for extenuating circumstances, at the sole discretion of NWPA.

Event Cancellation – Environmental or Safety Conditions

If an NWPA event needs to be cancelled due to environmental or safety concerns outside of our control, such as wildfires, severe weather, unsafe air quality, evacuation orders, natural disasters, or unsafe travel conditions, we want to ensure players have flexible options.

Entry Rollover:
Your event entry will automatically be rolled over as a credit that can be used toward any eligible NWPA event within two (2) years of the original event date.

Prefer a Refund?
Players may request a refund instead of keeping the rollover credit. Refunds will be issued for the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment processing fees associated with the transaction.

NWPA will not deduct any administrative fees from refunds when an event is cancelled under this policy.

Our priority is the safety of our players, volunteers, venues, and community, while making the cancellation process as fair and flexible as possible for everyone.

By paying the entry fee, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this refund policy.
